We are happy to welcome you to DanceWorks Performing Arts Center. The goal of DanceWorks is to provide a quality-learning environment and positive dance experience to students of all ages and ability levels. We offer an extensive program of study starting with elementary basics and progressing to “pre-professional” classes. Class selections begin with separate 3 year old (AB 3’s) and 4 year old (Kindermoves) classes as the first phase of “learning to dance”. As the child progresses in age, ability, and desire an increased selection of classes become available. There are many opportunities for students enrolled in our classical ballet program. The annual “Nutcracker Ballet” is presented through LCB as well as a summer dance festival presented in August at the CrossRoads Studio. We offer 8 levels of Tap, 8 levels of Jazz, including Jazz Funk, Hip Hop and JazzDance (Classical Broadway Jazz), Competition Dancelines and Tap Lines. We also offer Adult classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap & Adult Ballroom (for couples). The Jazz/Tap festival held in March, and annual spring recital give aspiring dancers more opportunities to perform in a venue of their own choosing; competitive as well as non-competitive --- recreational as well as intensive.

DanceWorks Performing Arts Center has two convenient locations, the Central Studio at the corner of Highway 50 and Dodd and our new facility, CrossRoads DanceWorks & HealthWorks Fitness for Women on the northwest corner of 175th St. and Dodd Blvd. in Lakeville. This new 14,000 sq. ft. building includes 6 dance classrooms and a separate 3400 sq. ft. women’s only fitness center. Yoga, Pilates (“Cadillac” & Reformer equipment) and personal training are available through HealthWorks program as well as complimentary aerobics classes.
